I suppose though that if you created a multi, with each program contributing two voices, you'd be able to get 32 voices, but not ones with four oscillators each. The patches were converted as-is from the hardware to the software versions, so those deviant tempo wavesequences still play out of time with any sequencer, and no good for use with Gadget.

Programmers deviated from this on some wavesequences, because they keyboard did not have an adjustable internal tempo. This is because syncing to clock relied on the wave sequence being of the standard where step length 24 =quarter note.

One other thing I want to bring up is that some patches dont sync to MIDI clock in both the hardware keyboard, the VSTi and iOS versions. Even a single Wavestation patch has up to 4 independent osc, and HD-1 only has two, so it aint happening. The patch is structure is also different, so a 1:1 clone of a Wavestation Performance, which may have up to 32 simultaneous tones/wavesequences, is not possible in a single Kronos program. Kronos uses the HD-1 engine for this, so max polyphony is 140, though lots of variables will reduce that number. All the Wavestation samples and PCM cards are in ROM. Kronos can use any sample that is in the keyboard for wavesequences. There is no setting for polyphony in the app or in ios settings. While the logo is still flashing, press the down cursor and the '4' button simultaneously. To initialize the SR, see these instructions instead. Dont know about the polyphony, may depend on how powerful your device is. Initializing the Wavestation keyboard, EX, and A/D : Note: these instructions do not apply to the Wavestation SR. The IOS version has every factory Wavestation sound + all the factory PCM card sets, as an in-app purchase.
